Do you offer walk-in appointments?

Our office operates on scheduled appointments. Please call ahead to set up your appointment.

Is there anything I need to do for my first appointment?

You should arrive 15 minutes early to complete registration paperwork.
You should bring your CareCard with you; this is used for identification purposes only.

What can I expect on my first visit?

On your initial visit, the therapist will
- Ask a series of questions about the history of your condition;
- Assess your current problem;
- Perform a physical examination;
- Provide a diagnosis and outline a treatment protocol;
- Provide the first treatment.
You should ask questions so that you fully understand how physiotherapy will help and how you can be an active participant in your own rehabilitation and health.

Am I responsible for my fees?

Clients are responsible for payment at the time of their appointment.
We do not bill 3rd party insurers directly- check with your plan for reimbursement.
We will give you a receipt at each visit for fees paid.

If I have to cancel or I miss my appointment, is there a charge?

Missed appointments: Clients who miss their appointments will be billed a $30.00 No Show Fee.
Cancellations
: If you are needing to cancel your appointment, we require 24 hours notice so that it is possible to book other clients in that time slot. Any appointments cancelled without this notice will be billed a $30.00 Late Cancellation Fee.

What should I wear?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing: ie. shorts for knees/legs & tank tops for arms/shoulders.
We also offer gowns or shorts for use.

How long will my appointment be?

Initial Assessment- 45 minutes.
Subsequent visits- 30 minutes.

Depending on your condition, appointment times may extend beyond these timelines.

What form of treatment can I expect?

Our clinic utilizes electrotherapy modalities such as Ultrasound, Laser, Interferential Current, T.E.N.S., and Electric Muscle Stimulation.
We also offer treatment using Acupunture, Spinal Manipulation, Vestibular Rehabilitation (for Vertigo), and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).

We are equipped with a traction bed for clients who require lumbar or cervical traction.
We also have our treatment rooms outfitted with cable pulley systems, and various balancing implements.
