Do you know that you don't require a referral to see a physiotherapist?
It's true! We are a direct access medical profession. This means that anyone can seek our services at any time. However, it is important to note that some insurance companies still require a referral from a physician in order for you to be re-imbursed for your physiotherapy treatments.

If you quality for premium assistance...
MSP User Fee Per Visit
MSP (Medical Services Plan) does not cover all clientele for Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, or IMS treatment. Treatments are only covered for those BC residents on premium assistance. This means that your combined household income is under $30,000. If you qualify for premium assistance then MSP will still only cover a portion of your physiotherapy visit. Thus, we still have to charge a user fee if you are covered under MSP. It is important to note that you only have a maximum of 10 visits per calendar year covered by MSP (including massage and chiropractic treatment). For more information please see MSP our Form.
